I am an actor and musician with 12 years of film, television and acting experience. Currently, I am the lead female vocalist, arranger and support guitarist for New Zealand’s newest Pink Floyd Experience band.
I am an excellent mimic and can readily adapt my vocal style to whatever is required. I specialise in character voices, such as Helen Clark, Queen Elizabeth and Marilyn Monroe. I can also convey a multitude of English accents: - American and British regional accents, as well as Australian and South African accents. I have studied the languages French and Spanish at university level and am able to speak both languages proficiently. Furthermore, I have pursued both jazz and classical vocal study, attaining an Associate level in Vocal Performance at Trinity College, London. With my classical studies I have sung in French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, as well as English, so my articulation of these languages is to a very high degree.
